We will explore the findings of this qualitative narrative study to understand how nurses were educated to support the spiritual needs of patients. As nurses grapple with how to provide spiritual care to their patients, this presentation will assist faculty, staff development educators and nurse leaders to develop resources to increase nurses’ perceptions of spiritual care bridging the gap between theory and practice.
